"Lovely period property. The room was very clean and the staff were excellent. The room would have benefited from blackout curtains that covered the entire window as there were bright lights outside the window. Also, light bled around the door as there were gaps under and it did not fully align with the door frame. I would stay here again as it was in a great location. "

"If you're looking to get away from the business of the world, this is great option. The room itself is cosy with enough amenities that you don't really need to leave if you dont want to. It is private, though not completely soundproof as we could hear the tenants in the main building from time to time. Blackheath is also far enough from the world but also close to major attractions like the Three Sisters in Katoomba, which is about 15 minutes drive away. "Very clean and tidy with extra touches like the pecan pie, shortbread, fruit and bottled water. Breakfast was superb. Sadly our room had a lot of road noise which we weren't used to and the bed creaked and groaned which led to two sleepless nights. We are sure John would have moved us had there been any spare rooms."
