"I enjoyed the kangaroo steak for dinner at the Tides restaurant. It was accompanied with sweet potatoes and broccoli. It was all excellent!
I also loved being able to sit at the beach and sit by the pool. It made it an enjoyable experience."

"We really enjoyed this beautiful, peaceful lodge. Breakfast was good and the hosts delightful. They shared a lot about the local history and culture. Don’t miss the historic rock art nearby."

"Great opportunity to stay in a unique setting and accommodation and experience remote far North Queensland. Sam was very helpful in making it happen for us. Our small dog enjoyed the freedom of the secure garden area."

Absolutely loved our stay.. we are a family of four with two little kids :) the pool is right next to the restaurant (which has AMAZING food) so the kids could swim & we could easily watch them and enjoy our meal which was served by really lovely hospitality staff… even had a chat to the chef!
The manager is a wonderful and warm host with great recommendations and always there for a chat!

The Lodge exceeded our expectation. The individual lodges were very well appointed and tucked away in the forest. When we arrived the staff were very helpful, as they were throughout our four day stay. The meals were varied and imaginative ... well done chef! Diwan is centrally located in the Daintree so the Lodge is a good spot from which to explore. We loved it.

This place is fantastic if you love being close to nature and enjoy the sounds of wildlife while you are going to sleep and as soon as you wake. It's a perfect location for walking in Daintree and the staff and food are amazing. The night walk is great and allows you to see lots of wildlife that you wouldn't see if you were out on your own. There is lots of amphibian, reptile and invertebrate life living in the overhead canopy that leads you to your room so have a look at night with a...
