Only private guesthouse with its own waterfalls and swimming hole by your deck

Waterfront Holiday home with private pool and kitchen
Daintree Secrets is set on 4 hectares of private property (mostly rainforest) with an open plan 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, set in the tree-tops, over the only permanently running stream in the Daintree.
The large veranda looks directly over your own private swimming holes (2 of them) and a small set of never ending waterfalls! The stream and rainforest curves around the veranda offering views from all rooms.
The house is fully furnished with three bedrooms. 2 have luxury King Double Beds and the 3rd has a double bed with single bunk above. All linen is provided, including large towels for swimming in the clear mountain stream. We update our linen every year.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a fulls sized fridge/freezer.
The large veranda is the perfect place for outdoor dining and has a Weber barbeque and a Love Swing for the best views of the waterfalls.
The house has a large day bed perfect for afternoon siestas, a TV monitor, DVD and CD player along with a library of DVD’s and CD’s for your enjoyment. There is also a selection of books and games. However, there is no Cable Television or Internet, one of the joys of this pristine paradise. Kids forget about their devices with so much to do at Daintree Secrets! They love the swimming hole teeming with jungle perch and exploring the rainforest. There is a second shallow, sandy pool perfect for toddlers and those that don't like the deep water. We even provide pool toys to keep them entertained.
Activities in this area are plentiful and we are centrally located and close to all the tourist attractions in the Daintree as well as Cafes and restaurants.
Activities include gentle walks (the beach is 5 mins. away), hiking, guided nature trails, crocodile tours, swimming, sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, reef fishing , jungle top zip lining and much more.
Most people say their favourite activity was spending a day lazing around the swimming hole on the luxury day beds, at Daintree Secrets.
Daintree Secrets is an ideal place for a romantic get-away. We have had a few weddings, elopements and lots of honey-mooners and those returning for anniversaries.

The trip from Cairns is an exceptionally scenic 2 hours. The road travels through cane fields, with dramatic mountain back-drops heavy with clouds and waterfalls. It then turns coastal and literally hugs the coastline with spectacular vistas of the Pacific Ocean.
Once you cross the vehicular ferry, you are in the rainforest. The road winds through a thick canopy of tree-ferns, palms and the majestic king fern - the largest in the world. Keep your eye out for Cassowaries as they are frequently sighted along this road.
You do not need a 4wd vehicle, any regular hire car is sufficient to get around and see most of the Daintree and it's attractions. We guarantee that your favourite part of the Daintree will be your own private waterfall sanctuary at Daintree Secrets!
We look forward to having you stay at our beautiful and unique property!

Stay at secrets
This was the most amazing place to stay the running stream and swimming hole were an absolute hit with our family- being out of mobile range was very refreshing for All of us !! Beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was there - evenings out on the balcony playing cards with our teenagers was a highlight for me with running stream in the back ground and no one looking at their mobiles every minute!!! 2 nights wasn’t enough in this piece of paradise

5/5 Excellent

This is a dream location right in . the heart of the tropical rainforest. The house is spacious with all necessities provided

5/5 Excellent

Our stay at Daintree Secrets was awesome. It was great to be disconnected from our phones and the internet and reconnect as a family playing games and watching a DVD together. Although the weather was rainy it was still much warmer than back in Melbourne and the kids still enjoyed playing in the swimming hole. Thanks
