Great for a motel, close to the centre of town. Short walk to cafe, pubs and parks. Staff called to let me know the late check in process, thank you. Good spot for the price. Thanks Avondel

Not a bad option in Benalla, has a pool which on a hot summer night could be handy, aircon was a bit weak, had a good nights sleep and was quiet etc

Not a very Welcoming experience,
The owner manager did not want to talk to you. Arrived at 8.45pm and they refused to come to the door to talk to you and give you your key. Had to use a telephone intercom that you could barely hear them give you instructions. There was no milk for a cuppa, only 2 small cups, no knives, forks or spoons just 1 teaspoon.2 straight back seats - very uncomfortable to relax in after driving all day! Two towels, 1 face towel no hand towels. The next day there was a sign at reception saying the office is temporarily closed. Not a very welcoming experience!

What a lovely little surprise! This was the cleanest and freshest motel room I’ve stayed in for a while. Even the remote control was spotless! Highly recommended if you’re passing through.

The property was on the ground floor which suited us as we cannot walk upstairs unfortunately it meant that we had a lot of noise coming from cars parked outside our unit and very noisy people above. The room was extremely dark and had no personality or view outside, I should have asked to see what else was available but we were extremely tired . As we did not have transport , we could not get any dinner, we are not up to par using mobiles, we had a couple of oranges and pears to eat but I had to go over to the office to ask for a knife and plate, they did have room spray in the bathroom and the shower was hot,I would not recommend this motel and if I ever had to stay in Benalla again I would take more time to select another motel, The Manager was pleasant ,also the bed was small, I am sure it was a double instead of a queen
