"We stayed at Serenity Estate for a long weekend getaway for dad’s birthday! We were 8 adults and 2 babies - very spacious with multiple living rooms so it’s easy to be with a large group but still enjoy your own space. The place was immaculate and very clean. We loved spending time outside under the covered outdoor area. We brought with us some outdoor lawn games and there is plenty of space to enjoy them! The spa is also HUGE so very comfortably fits everyone in and the area is very peaceful...

"An average motel to stay in Cessnock for a night or two. Do not expect much. If the intend is just to stay at night, then it should be ok. Room was small, exhaust fan did not work."

"Overall excellent hotel close to all the wineries plus Pepper Tree winery on site. Hotel over 100 yrs old and very well maintained, staff were wonderful and very helpful, breakfast was amazing. Would recommend this hotel for a few days in the Hunter Wine region."

"Beautiful elegant room and a super comfortable bed. The grounds and gardens were delightful. Our host was lovely and helpful. My only negative is the horrible acrylic blankets on the bed, hot and uncomfortable to sleep under. We will be back with byo blankets."
