"our stay at the mondrian was my birthday getaway so i was very excited to celebrate in cancun. the staff was friendly & welcoming. the hotel is well maintained & clean. it is a gated community w/ security so we felt extremely safe. the shows at night were entertaining. breakfast was great. i wish there was a bit variety when it comes to the lunch menu since it was the same food served daily. dinner was a bit of a let down. when we booked, there were 4 restaurants advertised & when we got there, there was only 2 (japanese & mediterranean). for my actual bday we ended up going off the resort to celebrate bc we only had 2 cuisine options. we don’t eat mediterranean so most of our nights were spent at nikos, which thankfully the food was delicious. the temperature of the room was also a little issue as the lowest the ac would go was 70 and overall the room felt rather hot. the beach shuttle also runs every 30 min which is a long wait in my opinion for a car ride that is only 5-7 min away. i think the shuttle should run more often. overall we had a lovely & quiet stay"

"Amazing food and staff! Everything is incredibly clean and the restaurants offer great variety. Bring cash so you can tip the staff - everyone is lovely and works hard to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Will come back for sure!"

"Quiet, peacefully exciting to say the least This resort is not loud at all in the sense that even the shows were mild manner. The buffet food is good as well just need a way to keep it hot after making the plate. Overall my stay on a scale 1-10. 6.5"

"Absolutely breathtaking. Food was excellent, especially the Thai restaurant! Excellent iced coffee in the morning. The staff were so friendly and helpful! The rooms were so beautifully designed and meticulously clean. We stayed here last minute after having issues with check in at another resort. So glad we came here. Would come back any time!"

"Beautiful property and amenities. The staff was kind, helpful. Only downside was that every single employee was competing to make aggressive sales and even though it was all inclusive. We had to pay for an entire bottle of tequila instead of letting us get one shot."
