"The staff, while doing our check-in at 11pm at night, were wonderful. Do friendly and helpful. The male staff member we spoke to the next morning to make we had checked out correctly, refused to look me in the eye. Would only look at my husband even when I smiled and tried to speak to him. Happened again with male morning staff when we stayed in their Ibis wing a week later. Unfortunately, our room was on the back wall of the Lifts. We were exhausted checking in at 11pm and found we then couldn't sleep for Lift noise. I thought it was because of the late night check in (first come, best served), but we got stuck next to Lifts a week later in the adjoining Ibis. So, I guess these are the cheap rooms for Expedia bookings. The mattress was hard. The breakfast was astounding! Well done on the breakfast, cleanliness, female staff, room decor and presentation."

"The free airport shuttle was efficient and easy to navigate, the hotel staff were friendly and polite. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. A couple of complimentary bottles of water would have been appreciated, most hotels seem to provide this as a basic option."

Walk out the door and immediately immerse yourself in treat Melbourne life. is the very best place to stay if you want to be where real people live. At first glance the area might seem edgy but in reality it is a very genuine place with real people, and the standard attracts all the cool kids and young at heart. The staff is so friendly and wonderful. Rooftop area is so beautiful and the coo on sea on entry lebel will make you wonder if you should even leave the premises. And so reasonable for what you pay. Top marks. If it wasn't a 15 hour flight, I'd come more often."

"The property was nice and clean and check in was a breeze. They have a food van out the front which was so convenient for breakfast and a coffee the only thing was the bed was a bit hard for me but may suit someone else but overall was great."
