Aquaworld Tours and Activities

Aquaworld is a diving and fishing shop which opened in 1987, and has developed into something far bigger. Whether it's to charter a fishing boat, tear through the jungle on a jetski, find a scuba-diving instructor or hire out snorkelling equipment, this is where you want to go to organise a day out on (or under) the water.

Their jungle tours will take you on two-man jetskis through mangrove channels out into the beautiful turquoise Caribbean. You’ll be guided out into the breathtaking Nichupte Lagoon before it's time to dive off your jetski into the deepwater world of the Nizuc coral reef. Everyone is provided with snorkels and masks to help you make your way over the corals and spend hours marvelling at the explosion of colours.

If it's a deeper dive you're after, you’re still in the right place. All levels of experience are welcome here, and you’ll be teamed up with safe and knowledgeable instructors for a very reasonable price. This really is a fantastic way to see some world-famous diving spots, and to learn how to dive if you’re new to it.

Aquaworld also organise fishing trips on their 10.3-metre boat. You can arrange for a private charter or be part of a team of up to five anglers as you set sail for the open sea in search of tuna, barracuda, bonito and many others - the waters here are teeming with fish!

Aquaworld is located just outside the centre of Cancun, on Boulevard Kukulchan, and is very easy to get to by taxi. There is also some free parking in the neighbourhood. Tours can be booked at the shop or from many of the hotels downtown. The shop is open daily, and prices depend on what activity you decide to go for.
