Lovely property overall, but the service cuts are impossible to ignore given the nightly rates and daily resort fees. The alternate-day housekeeping policy just doesn't work for a beach vacation. Sand accumulates fast on the floors, small room trash bins overflow after 24 hours, and wet towels sit around getting musty because they can't dry out in the room. There’s nothing quite like spending top dollar for a 4-star resort only to come back from the beach every day to dirty towels, full bins, and an unmade bed. If hotels are going to charge premium rates, they need to deliver premium service again instead of cutting basic standards under the guise of policy.

If you’re looking for a place to stay with all the amenities of home and a view of the ocean and Diamond Head, this is the Place for you. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and always there to help with anything you may need. I loved that there was great shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Room service for breakfast was delicious and the spa was great. The only thing that could have made this hotel better is if it was directly on the beach. However that was also in walking distance so not that big of a deal. I would definitely stay again!
