Overall, our stay was okay, mainly because the location was excellent. Everything we needed was within walking distance, which made getting around really easy. There were a few things that let the room down, though. We had booked a room with a king bed, but it was actually two single beds pushed together, which made the bed feel uneven and uncomfortable. The bathroom also had some maintenance issues; water was dripping while showering and even when using the hand basin tap. Another issue was that the window wouldn't close properly because it was missing a handle, and instead there was a screw nailed into the frame which made it uncomfortable to open and close. Which also left a small gap letting the cold draft coming into the room. The location is definitely the biggest positive, but I think the room could use some maintenance and better attention to the advertised room setup.

Spacious accommodation, gas fire lovely on chilly winter nights. Kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook, no oven but had elements and microwave. Coffee plunger, ice bucket were a nice touch. Clear instructions on how to operate TV, spa, fire.

It was an unpleasant experience at the hotel. In the end, we decided not to stay the night we paid for due to the terrible service. The room was very cold, and the heater did not work. We will not go back again.

We were looking forward to a spa bath. But the bath looked too dirty to use. No powerpints in bathroom. Bathroom & toilet fans, obviously too old, as they sounded like helicopters. Beds comfy & rest ok. Also we left an item behind, sentvtext to owner, got no reply. No impressed.
