Would stay again had a lot of fun and it was away from the craziness for the bigger cities

We had a wonderful stay at TABI Ueno. The location was perfect and easy to navigate. The food options in the area were fantastic and the hotel and staff were very clean and lovely.

Property: GRAND MONday Asakusa (formerly MONday Apart Premium Asakusa) 2-16-5 Nishiasakusa, Taito City, Tokyo Room: 1bd Suite, with 10sqm balcony. This property was great all around. The staff was very nice, helpful, and respectful. The room was the perfect size to comfortably accommodate 5 of us (2 adults, 3 older kids). The location was perfect and well within walking distance to grocery stores to buy food to make for breakfast in the morning. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and cooking supplies, small refrigerator, microwave, and a washer/dryer combo which all made the stay so comfortable and convenient. All around the property there is tons to explore and the Tawaramachi station is a couple minute walk away, as is the Senso-ji temple and direct train to the Sky Tower. Be ready for a lot of food choices, tucked away cafes, jazz bars, and shops. I highly recommend this location for bigger parties.

It is convenient location

It was a really clean place to stay and we felt safe and comfortable in the area, knowing it was really quiet and people were kind and respectful. The amenities were very functional and the room was spacious enough for 5 people to live. I love the authenticity of the place Japanese feel is quite amazing and impressive!! Sooo happy of our stay!!

I’ve traveled extensively around the world during my time in the U.S. Marine Corps and later as a businessman, and I’ve stayed in more hotels than I could ever count. I can honestly say this is one of the finest properties I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The hotel itself is stunning—beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and welcoming from the moment you arrive. But what truly sets it apart is the staff. Every person we encountered was warm, kind, professional, and genuinely eager to make our stay exceptional. Their hospitality wasn’t just excellent—it felt sincere. To me, the true measure of a great hotel isn’t just its architecture or amenities, but the people who bring it to life every day. In that regard, this place is second to none. The beauty of the property is simply a reflection of the incredible people who care for it and the guests who stay here. Thank you for making our visit such a memorable one. We hope to return someday.

Really happy with our stay. The staff were excellent. The room was perfect size for a family of 4, especially for Tokyo. The washer/dryer in the room was so handy. All of it seems quite new, and very modern. The public baths were great. Close walking to several stations and heaps of restaurants and shopping streets. I can see us staying here next time we come back.

The staff was very friendly and so helpful in coordinating our hotel reservation in the next city we were traveling to and printing QR codes, the food was delicious, the location was perfect for easy walking in Shibuya
