The property was close to the town with easy access to shops, and bars. The area was quite quiet of night considering its location to the town. Had a relaxing stay.

We were so impressed with the townhouse. Parked the car right outside and didn’t move it until we left 3 days later. Perfect location - all of York’s attractions a few minutes walk away, lovely restaurants, pubs, shops the same. We enjoyed walks and runs along the river in the mornings. The house was spacious and ideal for our family with lovely views. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Communication was great - most definitely recommend .

The location was great in terms of walking everywhere. It was lovely to be right on the river. The main bedroom was very comfortable, but the sofa bed in the lounge was not. Neighbours in the upstairs flat were noisy until late the first 2 nights, but after that it was peaceful. Overall we would recommend for a short stay for a family of 4.

We have now ordered a comfort foam topper for the sofa bed mattress, as they do tend to be far less comfortable than proper bed mattresses. Fabulous aoartment. Walking distance from everything I wanted to see. Quiet well equipped. Everything was oetfect. There was even a Christmas tree in the apartment.

Lovely, central apartment.
The apartment is very central and the perfect base for exploring York. Being able to park the car, and in a garage was brilliant. The apartment had everything we needed for a long weekend. Pre-check in communication was excellent. We'll definitely be staying again the next time we're in York!

Perfect stay
Our group of freinds Stayed at the town house and apartment for a long weekend. To start with the hosts communication made things so easy from start to finish. These property’s are full of character and in a prime place in York beautiful views of the river and close to the city a short walk to the cathedral. Parking is onsite and we cannot recommend this property enough. Will certainly return 👍

Family vacation
We spent 3 days in York and stayed at the Riverside. The home was lovely and had everything needed for a perfect 'home away from home.' Patrick Lavers, the owner, was prompt to respond to every question we had. If we ever have the opportunity to visit York again, The Riverside York, is where we would choose to stay. It is convenient walking distance to nearly everything you would want to visit while there. If you decide to stay here, you will not be disappointed!

Our stay at riverside.
We had an amazing 3 nights in this town house which was idyllic. The location is perfect - right on the river. Would definatley stay here again. A little gem in York

Great little apartment in York!!
We have just returned from a fantastic stay at the Riverside York. The apartment is superbly located a short walk from the attractions, almost literally a stones throw from York castle museum and Clifford's Castle. The apartment was cosy and welcoming with everything catered for after a long drive (tea, coffee, sugar) Patrick was very helpful and responsive when we had questions and always replied in good time. York is a wonderful city for families and couples with great restaurants, bars and museums aimed at all ages, and its so much nicer when you can relax at the end of a busy day! Thanks again!

We had a wonderful stay in York, the property is minutes from the centre which was great. The property was really comfortable and we were able to make our own food, the kitchen was really well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was super comfy.

Lovely apartment close to all the tourist attractions within York City. Bed was super comfortable and long enough for my tall husband! Beautiful views of the river from the bedroom and a bench outside to be able to watch the world go by, with a takeaway pint from one of the pubs down the road. Private parking in the attached garage was a bonus. Kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom has underfloor heating. Perfect apartment and location for our first visit to York, would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay here at Riverside. As a family of four there was plenty of space. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils and had all the appliances needed to have a nice home cooked meal as a family. Bedrooms were spacious and well presented and the bathrooms were large with one having views across the river when in the bath. Overall we loved the location being so near to all the shops and attractions and being on the riverfront gave us the opportunity to watch the boats, the passing visitors and a flock of geese who sauntered along the front every day like a bunch of locals! Great experience, would like to return soon for another stay.

The location is amazing. Right in the centre of town on the river so easy to get to the shops, bars, Yorkminster. Riverside view from the bedroom window. Off road parking, comfortable bed. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Had a fantastic weekend and would definitely recommend

Beautiful apartment and position
This apartment is gorgeous - overlooking the River from the bedroom - also a bench outside overlooking the River. There was a private attached garage which was brill as there was no nearby parking. Everything is in walking distant anyway. There were three of us - which gave us plenty of room. Everything was extremely clean and tidy - we could not fault it. Do stay there - you wont regret it!

perfect location
Everything was fine, a brilliant location just put the car in the garage and walked everywhere.Fantastic bedroom, sat in the bay window in an armchair just watching the river. The only downside for us was the neighbours upstairs who were noisy , banging about. We would definitely book again

Lovely property - nothing not to like.
Fabulous stay at The Riverside York. The wonder was in touch to make sure we had everything we needed (we did) and were happy (we were). Conveniently located for everything York has to offer. Very well equipped and really appreciated the tea/coffee/biscuits and milk in the fridge - just the thing after a long journey. Highly recommend we would definitely stay again.

The Riverside York
