Enjoyed a one night stay, room was nice and comfortable. Hotel is lovely with a hidden secret beer garden which is next to the historic wall. Had a fantastic full english breakfast - would recommend The Fat Badger.

Lovely old building in the heart of old York. Room was nice although I’ve slept in more comfortable beds- I prefer a firmer mattress. Breakfast was excellent with good quality products. May not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

Not only did we enjoy our lodging at the Fat Badger but the meals we had there were fabulous as well. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us during their busy holiday season. The property is cozy and convenient to the city center and we couldn’t have been happier with the staff. We had a lovely stay.

We loved the view outside our window of the old city gate, it was so close we felt we could reach out the window and touch it!. The room was comfortable and the staff helpful. Would recommend for an atmospheric stay.
