We stayed 1 night with halfboard & couldn't be happier. The property is very picturesque with a nice garden & waterfall. - Great dinner in private dining room with helpful staff - Buffet breakfast was good with a wide range of quality food - Large bedroom with good beddings & aircond - Nice bathroom with separate toilet This hotel is at the top of our return list.

Had an amazing 5 nights at Tsuruya. A very comfortable room with soft sleep mats, low table and chairs and 2 sitting chairs. We had full board and the meals were exceptional. Very fresh Japanese meals. We loved the outdoor onsen - it was a treat to sit in the hot mineral water while being snowed on. A well maintained beautiful classic traditional Japanese ryokan, the service is on the top notch. Everything is perfectly presented. We had a great time staying at the ryokan.

Beautiful grand property. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. (Next to the Premium Outlet mall is a bonus!) We will definitely come back next time we are in Sendai.
