"I would recommend the castle hotel to everyone. Lovely hotel, great location and the staff were so friendly and helpful. On arrival to the hotel, I went to check in, and found I’d booked the wrong date, I was a week early. Expedia did nothing whatsoever to help me, apart from try to charge me the same price of the room again, to change my booking, even though I spend £1000s through them every year. It was my mistake, but I found Expedias response to the situation very disappointing. However, the lady on reception and someone from the reservations team…. I can’t remember either of their names, did everything they could to help and even got me a refund on the room that I incorrectly booked and I can’t thank them enough. If you ever stay in Windsor, then make sure you stay here "

"I stayed at this hotel because I got bumped from my flight out of Heathrow and had to stay at two additional days. The location was perfect along the Thames River there are many walking options right next to the hotel. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had while in Europe."

The room was not large, but the built in and portable furnishings were so perfectly fitted that the room functioned exquisitely for three people - like a well fitted yacht - maybe better. The designers deserve many awards for this room! As expected, all spaces were quite clean, the beds were very comfortable, the staff was kind and professional, and the breakfast was good. "I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The breakfast was remarkable - so much choice and they even poached eggs for me instead of the standard scrabled eggs. Great, friendly and prompt service. In the room, the the coffe and tea offerings were also so much better than what I have been given at other hotels. Location was fabulous - easy access to Windsor town centre plus able to close access to the Long Walk for a bracing walk after Christmas festivities. Felt very safe area."
