"I felt very lucky to find this affordable room for my work/play trip to NYC. It is located super conveniently to three different train lines and a whole host of bars, bodegas, and restaurants which for a 9-day stay, was a great perk. I also appreciated having access to a full kitchen with supplies to save a little from eating out constantly. Bed was comfortable and the place was pretty quiet, despite having a lot of guest rooms and folks coming and going. Some pitfalls: My room smelled of...

"This is a great place in a great neighborhood! We booked this for a week long trip of sightseeing in New York for 2 couples and our youngest son. It was easy getting on and off the island by bus and we figured out the subway system pretty easy. The place is beautiful and served us well for everything we needed. We did debate on renting a car but for going to New York City it seemed like more of a liability than an asset. The bus is 2 blocks away and it takes you straight to Times Square/port...

"Perfectly acceptable space, though hasn't been deep cleaned in a long time (doesn't bother me, but may bother others). Right next to Little India in Jersey City and easy to get into Manhattan from this location. Property manager was easy to communicate with and reach."

"This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby."
