This is a spacious, duplex unit adjacent to a NY State park/nature preserve across the road. The 70+ acre park has a small lake, light hiking, and very scenic setting/views, and it’s great area for nature watching/woods exploring with your favorite pup.

It includes an attached deck with BBQ grill and fire pit, with use of spacious, side yard included; the 2nd floor has skylights, and there is plenty of ac when needed, top-notch WiFi network, washer/dryer for long term stays, private entrance, and parking right in front of unit on driveway.

Great spot to relax/re-connect with nature, suitable for families and perfect for romantic getaway as well; and very dog friendly spot and area, especially with the enclosed yard.

It’s located within minutes of shopping, restaurants, the Village of Cold Spring, the MTA north train station, Hudson River and world ranked hiking trails.

This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby.

Lovely place to stay
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Our dog absolutely loved the backyard! Check in was easy and the accommodations were very comfortable. Quick drive into town and great nature preserve right across the street. I would highly recommend this property and would love to come back again!

Perfect getaway
Mellow spot with a wonderful backyard for our dog to goof off in. It was perfect for a two-day break from the city with some nice hikes and creature comforts. We're hoping to head back again soon.

Place was as advertised. Very cool space very comfortable. The mesquitos were out of control! But cant blame anyone, its August in the woods pretty unavoidable. The Property Manager was very responsive to us. Any time we contacted him, he got back to us very quickly. Had a great time!

Wonderful place to unwind and explore!
This spot had everything we needed for a fun and adventurous respite! Ruben was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend Canopus Lake for kayaking and swimming. Beware that swimming is only allowed on the lower side of the lake - the side by the sandy beach.

Great location to explore the Hudson River Valley
It was awesome to walk out the door, cross the street and have scenic reserve across the street. Jump in the car and in no time be in the charming villages of Cold Spring or Beacon. The cottage worked very well for my husband, adult daughter and me, oh can't forget our dog Ricco! Enjoyed our stay and would return!

awesome upstate get away
I stayed here with my 1 year old son and dog while my wife was working a few days in the area. We loved it! Super relaxing, calm and tranquil space. The fire place was lovely, and they even had a handful of baby gates already there for us to use. The fenced in back yard was great for the dog and baby to run around, and I could even sit in the hot tub and monitor the baby while he played in the sand pit. 10/10 would come back again.

Fantastic little barn. Cozy and clean. Hot tub was amazing. My only wish was a few essential kitchen items were not available but it does not take away from my 5* stay. Thank you to the host and I hope we are invited back!
