"The room was lovely, clean and bright, the staff very friendly and attentive, breakfast was very nice and dinning room smart and clean. The only downside I found was having to hand the key in every time you went out, it was a bit of a pain having to queue to get the key when staff checking people in Saying that I would still stay again."

"The hotel was very warn down, with the bathroom looking the worst, there was a wobly tile. And there was a stain on my bedsheet that hasnt come off after washing the sheets. The hotel definitely could do with a refurbishment. The staff at the reception were nice and welcoming."

"A really interesting, quirky and special place. We stayed in a Pullman 'room' which was comfortable, warm and cosy. The carriage had been converted brilliantly and retained its historic features. The station building also had been converted/renovated to a high standard and again retained historic references, tastefully done. Breakfast, cooked 'just for you' was excellent and was eaten in the old waiting room which had a lovely ambiance. Highly recommended if you want something different and if...
