Convenient stay for us to visit relatives staying nearby. Warm welcome from staff. Delicious cooked breakfast. Noisy engine from a car in the car park early am but think we were unlucky.

The Woolpack Inn excelled in a lot of areas,especially with respect to parking nearby, with good food throughout and a comfortable and quiet room/suite with good furnishings, TV, kettle, bathroom-shower facilities. The staff were very helpful and the guest breakfast area very nice and friendly. If travelling again to a nearby area I would stay again if the prices remain competitive and standards maintained. The only "fly in the ointment " was the frequent "door slamming" of fellow guests in the early morning--but that is not the fault of the managers. Thanks.

Room had all our needs and was well equipped , clean and smelt fresh at all times , staff very friendly and welcoming. Car parking was excellent no problems at all. Breakfast was very good plenty to eat and drink and efficient service, We had one thing that would have made our stay perfect if the mattress had not been sprung it made the bed feel very lumpy in places and sleep was hit and miss , we will be booking again next time we ho to Chichester as we found it very easy to get around , a big thankyou to the staff who made our stay more enjoyable.

Didnt like that rooms have interconnect doors, no sound proofing could hear everything from the next door, beds to lumpy and on wheels thus making movement unstable. Room was clean thou and Staff very approachable and friendly.

Comfortable stay, delicious Carvery

2nd stay at The Woolpack . Very convenient for town centre and Goodwood race track. Rooms clean & comfortable. Service good. We ate in the Restaurant and had the carvery which was excellent. Generous portions of local produce , well cooked and presented. As we were leaving early the next morning Chef arranged for breakfast sandwiches and yoghurt to be left in fridge for us to collect This was appreciated. Would recommend.

Lots of good points but very thin walls!

So many good things about The Woolpack... comfy bed, lovely towels, fresh flowers, good breakfast, helpful staff etc. BUT, and it's a big but... the walls of Room 6 were like tissue paper - we might as well have been sharing a room with the people next door! This is why we won't be staying here again.

Hidden gem!

As we arrived at the Woolpack, we saw they have ample parking. The room was basic, but very clean, the bed very noisy but extremely comfy. Superb selection of towels, with soap shampoo and body lotion provided. The shower is small but superb. The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and would do anything to help. The food was excellent. A very very good selection and arrived piping hot and delicious! The gravy was unbelievable andI wish I could but some to take home, it was so good. There is a fridge provided for guests use ans an iced water machine. The WiFi was also very good with no problems. Fresh flowers everywhere and in the lovely beer garden was a children’s play area the looked excellent. Very close to Chichester centre, so a good location. For a reasonable price, it was excellent.

Great position Great staff.

The hotel position is very good with walks down to the creek and mill pond very close. The garden was good and the service was good with extremely friendly staff. Unfortunately the bedroom room was disappointing. There were cobwebs and spiders in the corners of the room and ceiling. The bath around the taps are mouldy and some of the pipes where they met the wall are rusty. Its a shame a little more attention to detail would make all the difference.

The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The property was quiet, safe, and clean. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious. All in all, a great spot for those who need a quiet spot near Chichester.
