"This is a beautiful hotel that has old charm with modern amenities. I love that there a several options for food in the hotel and lots of great businesses and blue line access near by. The room wasn't huge but it was beautiful, comfortable and the beds were absolutely wonderful. A small complaint for me would be that do I wish the pool was larger. The roof top bar is absolutely stunning with amazing views. I would have to say that the very best part of our stay had to be the staff. Every staff person that we interacted with was just beyond lovely and helpful. That alone would make me come back and stay here. Highly recommend! "
"Wonderful new discovery for us. We were in Chicago to visit our son who lives in Wicker Park and discovered this fabulously funky B&B in Bucktown. It will DEFINITELY be our go to place to stay for future visits. Staff so friendly, everything about our stay was great, visiting with fellow guests over breakfast (pancakes or French Toast, which to choose, too hard, have both!) - just altogether wonderful. "
"This could be a nice place but until some critical items change, we recommend skipping this rental and any other VRBO serviced through Umbrella, a rental management company. The issues:1. We paid 77 for early access and the unit code had not been programmed for our arrival. My 82-year old mother in law had to wait for over 40 minutes before we finallly got someone on the phone and the code was programmed. 2. I asked for a refund on the early access 72 hours ago and have not received a response of any kind.3. Communication with Umbrella was difficult. The interface between VRBO and them was sometimes impossible to get to on the phone app and chat responses took 10-30 minutes.4. The AC units are cheap and loud. And there should be one more.5. The AC unit remote also turns the bedroom tv on. Not kidding.5. The fridge does not make any ice. 6. There are no drinking glasses, just coffee mugs.7. There are coffee beans but no grinder for the machine.8. The chandelier is gonna crack someone’s head open if you are 5’10” or taller.9. Floor lamps are needed instead of too bright overheads.10. No dishwasher."
"It was very easy to get in and the interior was clean and beautiful. However, I had trouble sleeping in my bed (very little to no airflow in the bedroom) and would suggest bringing a bedside fan if you stay here in the summer. Otherwise our stay turned out great!"
