An exceptional place to stay for a quick getaway! The Hyatt Place Chicago Medical District provided the perfect, relaxing environment for a short vacation. The modern amenities, comfortable beds, and excellent hot breakfast made it easy to unwind. We loved the beautiful architecture and the peaceful, quiet atmosphere of our room. Highly recommend!

Especially liked the security. No one can take the elevators up to the floors without a room card. Bathroom was very roomy and had easy step in access to the shower (no tubs). Lots of fluffy towels changed each day.

Centrally located just outside of downtown Chicago but easily accessible via the Eisenhour or from downtown or the airports. The hotel sits a couple blocks from the United Center or right near Rush & the Medical District or UIC & University Village. On site & street parking. The building is dated but the rooms are nice. The hotel is clean and the location is good. Convenient to whatever you are in town for!

Parking is limited, first come first serve, but there is another lot within walking distance. My room was comfortable, would have liked more lighting but it had everything I needed. Nice hotel close to the hospitals. Very clean with comfortable bed and nice hot shower. The staff were all VERY nice and friendly. Not too much to do within walking distance except a few fast food restaurants. The bar food was not good.

Parking at the hotel is very easy and you don’t have to walk a long way to the hotel. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. The only negative would be the noise. Easy to hear other doors slamming and sirens all night long.
