The only good thing about this hotel is its location, which is close to the local attractions. The rooms do have balconies with a nice view of the backyard, but unfortunately, they are not well-maintained and not clean.

Grounds had a lot of cigarette butts around and many people that seemed to be on drugs loitering by the entrances and stairwells. The bathroom in the suite unfortunately had a strong smell of cat urine. Otherwise clean. The staff however, was very friendly and the Inn was pet friendly.

We were sent to another motel .which is 25 km away. Staff on counter we don't have suitable room for you .we arrange other motel. We agreed we had no choice. As we went to other place Ramshorn 2004 shuswap ave LUMBY .BC They gave small room with queen size bed on high way on ground floor window open busy high way for o.As we asked give us king size bed .Staff asked for more money .We were treated not not well.I am afraid they took my credit card information. They might miss use of it

There office had the open sign on but it was locked I had to wait for 30 mins I tried calling there number they wouldn't pick up and there was the putrid smell of weed it wasn't clean it was very dirty and there where shady people hanging around there. When the owner finally opened the door she was very disrespectful we asked If we were safe there and she said that she is not responsible for our safety so we decide to not stay there because we did not feel safe.

This motel was extremely disappointed and we felt very unsafe on property when we checked in we were told they do not accept credit card payemnt as they dont have a machine any more even though we reserved the room with a card through your site It was late and we didnt have much choice so we paid the cash we did not feel comfortable unloading our luggage from the car and dint want to leave anything in the car because several people were going through the dumpster on property in the parking lot the room was difficult to lock the knob was broken and crushed in this was not a good experience and we were very happy to leave early the next morning

Our stay felt like an urban "Survival" episode. Check in felt like a major inconvenience to the woman at the front desk. Her helper escorted us to the room, we almost gagged at the smoke smell emanating from the room upon opening the door. The smoke detector was beeping and the gentleman went to get a new battery which he could not figure out how to instal so he left the detector on the dresser and said we'd be OK. The TV wasn't working and it was determined that there was a missing power cord that was not replaced in the three days we were ther. There were numerous occasions where some strange domestic behavior was displayed by the residents including smoking crack and outright screaming battles between what may have been a drug dealer or a pimp and a woman. The room was disgustingly dirty complete with dirty dishes and potatoes sprouting in the cupboards and stains on the shower curtain that could only be described as bodily fluids. I'm not convinced the sheets had been changed, We had to wear shoes in the room to keep our socks from sticking to the floor. The highway noise was pretty much nonstop but that was predicable given the location. I think this place could possibly be getting some subsidy to house homeless people. Some were polite but others downright scary and sadly degenerate. Toilet sounded like a fire hose. The good news is the stove worked and we did get a clean pot to boil water. Microwave worked as did the refrigerator. Plenty of hot water.

This property was the most reasonable available on next day notice in the high season. The location is awesome, very handy to the downtown. It has AC ...much appreciated during a recent heat wave. But the frig was set so cold all my fresh berries froze. The heat was on on the bathroom. The bathroom sink drained about 10 minutes after use. There were no pots and pans for the 4 burner stove, no glasses only mugs. The tv got no signal. You get my drift? We will not be staying there again.

It was a great place to sleep at night! Clean! Coffee maker and frig , which was great! The owners seemed very nice. The room had that motel smell of cigarettes, which didn’t,t bother me that much ! Overall it was all that I needed!

The room smells like cigarette the fridge stinks and the AC didn’t work properly and the front desk person is not there when u need it and u have to called everytime there is a problem in the room.

Older building, but you can see they are fixing it up. We ended up with a nice room, but were initially given a room with two double beds when we had booked a king. Luckily I had printed the receipt. They also kept the paper with the reservation which had the map of the route home on the back so we got a bit lost.

I arrived at the property only to find they had not processed my booking, They recommend I go to an alternative hotel owned by them, i did not go as they had let me down badly, they turned me away from their reception, knowing I was a woman travelling on my own, in a place I did not know, I had chosen this hotel as it was within walking distance to the hospital, I had no transport and it was dark. I will not use this hotel in the future.

Staff was very accommodating. The room quality was amazing. That bed was very comfortable! Be ready for a little highway noise. Other than that, I’d highly recommend this place.

We arrived and got the key. Took our stuff to our room and went out for dinner. When we came back we were locked out of our room. Went to the office and all our belongings were there. They said they were waiting for us to check into the room and thought someone else had taken the room. Left us feeling violated. The room had 2 double beds instead of the king we had booked and had no fridge let alone a kitchenette. Would not recommend this hotel.

This property has truly the perfect location. Extremely easy to find as is on the corner of the two main highways in town. Also it is within walking distance to all of downtown Vernon, for all services. The family who own and run it have taken a property which was in very bad shape and made it beautiful again. The rooms are large and clean and very comfortable.

Right downtown and very close to stores and services. But its also located on an extremely busy intersection and it is very noisy 24/7. The motel itself should be gutted and fixed. Seems like it's been the same since it was built. There is a smell of moisture probably due to lack of air circulation and humidity in the air. On the flip side, staff is very nice and friendly. Access to rooms is gated so it is very safe.

The hotel was extremely disorganized and dangerous. The smoke detectors were missing, the plug for the light was frayed and “fixed” see picture, and the ac was plugged into two extension cords with grounds which is a fire hazard...

Property is in a great location.Some recent renovations have been done to rooms with kitchenettes however there is a serious issue with safety where the raised tile meets the carpeted area. There is almost a 1 inch drop and the metal molding has a very sharp edge that I cut my foot on and is also a tripping hazard.Host now knows about this but didn't seem too concerned.Fix the problem please.

I was quite pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and spacious with a nice balcony but it overlooked the busy road. There was no pool and we stayed 2 nights and our room was not made or towels replenished. Also the TV was not set up but that was fixed right away. The outside doesn't look great from the picture but it was nice and yes I would stay again and recommend.
