"This is such a great place to stay. The interior might look a bit dated but you can tell the staff and owners take such pride in everything. We arrived very late due to issues on the roads but had no problems checking in via phone then the super friendly security guard helped us with room keys etc once we arrived. We booked a dog friendly room and I was kind of shocked by how clean it was. I’ve stayed in numerous dog friendly rooms in various hotels and this was the cleanest by far…the couch had zero stains and had been fully vacuumed prior to our arrival and there was no dog smell or evidence anywhere. The bedrooms (both in the loft and downstairs) don’t have any doors so just make sure you’re comfortable with the people you’re traveling with. The baths in the room were lovely too! Had a wonderful bath before bed most nights. Great place and will definitely return on our next visit to Vernon!"

"We enjoyed a quiet stay in our spacious, well appointed room. Highlights were: a roomy bathroom, comfy bed, easy to control heating. There is a restaurant attached that has idd hours, but there are lots of eateries close by."

"The hotel is updating and renovating which is great, but you do see and hear the construction. We had a room that was dated as the pet friendly rooms have not been renovated yet. Unfortunately it also had ants.....I think it's an issue at this time of the year. Unfortunately because of the long weekend they were not able to get anyone onsite quickly. They did move us to another room and made it all good so it was just a minor inconvenience. The pool and hot tub....we didn't use. The hot tub looked a bit grimy as did the pool. The first thing we noticed was the lack of chlorine smell.....We took a pass. Gym was quiet and had weights and a mat and some machines. I was able to get a work out in. Staff was friendly and doing their absolute best! Breakfast was good and every day offered a different hot selection of eggs, bacon, hashbrowns. It had a 1 minute pancake maker which was a hit! Warm cinnamon buns, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, cereals. There was something for everyone I feel. I love being able to go away with our furry family and this hotel is conveniently situated along the highway, next to grass and a path that we walked the dogs along so they could do their business. It's location is walkable to restaurants and fast food, a superstore (grocery), coffee (Blenz, Starbucks, McDonalds), a mall, Dollar store, bakery and even a pet store! But it's close to the lake and Mountain and lots of hikes which we enjoyed!"

"Enjoyed our stay here! It was super relaxing. The only thing though was we found a mouse in our room the last day and maybe because we had take out in our room. This was bothersome but thankfully on our way to checking out. The complimentary breakfast was so good! Some of the staff were not friendly and seemed rushed with poor customer service skills but that’s more of a comfort thing for us. The beds were really uncomfortable and beautiful views from our room! We loved the tub near the window — it was so relaxing. They also provided us with complimentary bath salt which was a nice surprise. The amenities were great! The spa areas were so good — best spa I have been to. Not a lot of restaurants nearby so the food in the restaurant in the building was expensive and one down the hill from us at the other hotel. Only two walkable restaurants — otherwise have to drive into town (more of a preference thing). Lovely walk around with nice views and nature. Would recommend staying here! "
