Great little hotel, in safe, quiet residential area of Lido, within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and ferries, with staff that really look after you. A quiet haven away from the madness of central Venice, no 14 ferry takes you from Lido to St Marco in just over 10 minutes, runs every 1/2 hour. Excellent hotel close to ferry terminal and restaurants

We've stayed here on several occasions and everytime it gets better. The fact that it is a few yardsfrom the beach and Adriatic while within easy walking distance of suburban shops, restaurants and the vaporetto station for the short distance to the main Venetian attractions and islands, is ideal. The location has everything within a genuinely Italian area! The hotel is peaceful, quiet with first class family management and staff - nothing is too much trouble for them. We stayed here for 2 nights prior to boarding a Cunard cruise. The hotel is in a great spot, across the road from the ferry terminal. Lots of restaurants near by. Lido was a great choice for a quiet location to stay, away from the very busy Venice. The ferry's take you everywhere you need to go in Venice and the other islands, including the Cruise terminal, airport, train station.

Friendly staff,good breakfast lots of options clean an spacious rooms,comfy beds. Beachfront close to all amenities.

It was very central and comfortable. Silvio and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful.

Newly renovated beautiful bathroom, in dated but comfortable room, breakfast is simple but effective. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way when we had a problem. Try not to book your departure too early as you can not always get an early boat to the train or Airport and water taxi's are very expensive. We had this problem and the hotel found us a hotel closer to the station for the last night, no extra cost, could not have asked for more.

We love staying at the Lido when we are in Venice - it's only a short ferry ride to San Marco and also from Burano and Murano. What we like best is that it is a relaxed and friendly place to stay away from the hustle and bustle, where many people ride bikes, transport is very good, cars stop at the pedestrian crossing and we can observe life of residents having their passeggiata with their elder folk, children or dogs. Likewise we enjoyed the welcoming and helpful nature of the staff at Hotel...

a lovely hotel - recommended for those wanting to stay in the great location of Lido.... remember that ferry rides to venice are 9euro each one way - I paid 90 euro for a 48 hour pass for three of us... can add up...

Very nice hotel in nice quiet area out of the big rush in the island of Lido. Nice place to stroll in the evenings. Would definely book a Superior Room, the standard room which they put us in by mistake at the start didn't even have enough room for suitcases..Nice friendly staff and breakfast was good.

Nice hotel in quiet street, just off the main street in Lido,, where you will find plenty of shops and restaurants. Room had a fridge and safe, and bigger than most in Venice. Breakfast was good but same everyday. Only thing which was a little strange were the towels - which are cotton bed sheets ?! But they do get you dry and were changed everyday. TV had no English channels.
