"With basic amenities of tourist destination hotels like a clean room (only cleaned upon request), drinking water(referring to the 2 small bottles of water given in the room), fresh towels ( again upon request only), clean swimming pool (gathering ground for mosquitoes), 24/7 electricity missing for this hotel and the fact that it is located far from tourist attractions, I highly recommend not to choose this hotel. The only saving grace for this hotel is the good food."

"Amazing place, cool art everywhere and huge rooms, lovely private beach where you can spot sea turtles, lovely staff and breakfast. Monkeys in the trees and fish in the ponds, a scene of tranquility only a short tuk tuk frol galle fort."

"At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there."

" it was surprise to me when I reached the hotel and had to leave it since it is nothing like the mis leading deceiving pictures where the hotel was extremely dirty, deserted, the bed with pee stains, hygiene zero and 3 guys managing it who has zero hygiene and didn’t look like they are running the place which was quite creepy. Don’t be fooled by review and pictures. I had to leave and didn’t get refund so do hotels.com didn’t refund me when I reported the issue in the same moment. I had to lose...

"This beautiful hotel is set directly on the beach and has stunning views while also being private. Our group had three villas, each very comfortable, clean, unique and lovely. The service was excellent! Highly recommend Apa Villa"
