Such a beautiful villa in walking distance to all the action of Ubud. The pool was absolutely stunning and the staff were all so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us.

Great hotel in Ubud! It’s a real unique experience to be in the city center of u if walking distance to everything and yet still very quiet and tranquil. The hotel is very new, beautiful rooms, nice pool area. The stuff very helping. Manager Ketut helped me to make my second reservation, was very attentive. You can ask anything and will be helped. Highly recommended

This property is in easy walking distance to markets, restaurants and the palace. The staff are lovely, very hospital and provide a 5 star experience. There is a small kitchen on site that prepares food and breakfast. It is simple, but very good. The room was very comfortable and as a solo traveller, secure and private. I really enjoyed staying here, there are so many options and it can be difficult in choosing somewhere to stay, but this was overall an excellent choice for me.

Overall stay was nice, Only thing I want to mention is we booked suite with terrace view, and paid extra bucks online for this, but when we checked in they told us that they don't have suite with terrace and gave us suite at ground floor. This should be checked by staff properly when a booking happens at their property.

Hi and many thanks for writing a review. I am sorry to hear we have not fully delivered on your expectations. All our suites have a terrace as it says in the listing, it’s a balcony (upper floor) or a patio with a surrounding garden (ground floor). We also dont charge extra for any of the options, it’s the same room type and guests are placed based on availability when booking. Some guests prefer upper floor, some lower, and I am so sorry if your preference was not available upon your arrival. That said we always take feedback seriously and will talk to the booking channel if the terrace can be better clarified. I do hope you still enjoyed your stay and welcome you back in the future!

Oasis of quiet and comfort walking distance from most attractions in Ubud. Very safe. Nice pool. Friendly staff and very nice breakfast. The 4pm tea and pastries is a very nice touch.

The staff at this villa are incredibly helpful and kind folks. The customer service was excellent but I would say it was their warmth and care that won me over. I got unexpectedly sick upon arrival. While I stayed in, the kind staff checked in on me. What’s more, I have several food allergies (which is why I wanted a place with a kitchen). They patiently and kindly worked with me to find things that I could have from the menu, making adjustments as needed. I am convinced this is why I healed in 2-3 days time. I can attest to the grounds, being in my villa recuperating for several days really gave me a chance to appreciate them. Impeccable and beautiful. Highly recommend to talk to the gardener; interesting fellow and dancer at the Kecak Dance nearby! This is not anything of the villas doing but you should be aware that the street to the villa is very narrow. Car Gojek/taxis/drivers sometimes have a hard time maneuvering. That didn’t keep me from finding drivers but sometimes delayed pick ups and drop offs. The villa is a short walk from where most things are happening though and you can always opt to walk to a more accessible pick up point.

We absolutely loved our family stay at the White Villas in Ubud. An easy 4-5 minute walk into the centre of Ubud, yet surrounded by lush, peaceful jungle. The pool was fantastic and the staff were super helpful and caring. We loved the breakfast, as well as the other meals and snacks available in-house.

The staff at The White Villas Ubud are incredibly kind and thoughtful! They were some of the nicest people we met in Bali and made our stay absolutely lovely. The villa itself is lovely and mosquito free. Breakfast is delicious and perfectly portioned. The room is clean and the bathroom is beautiful! We felt very and taken care of, I wouldn't change anything. 10/10 stay, will definitely make it a point to stay here again! Thank you so much to the staff, I wish I remembered all their names to give them a personalized shout out!

Thank you for your time to give us a review. We are always sad to see when we have not lived up to guests’ expectations. We are a totally smoke free hotel and need to honor this in respect for other guests, while we could not let you spoke within the property. Regarding other matters it’s always good to talk to the staff on site directly, if things are not to your satisfactory, Many things are possible to solve and we try to always act for a good solution for everyone. We are a small hotel with maybe not all the comfort or space of a big resort but we really want to give all the guests a memorable experience and we take all feedback seriously. Booked 2 bedroom 2.5 spacious clean property. A/C worked great and walk safe in master. Laundry service located across street. Delicious breakfast and cake in afternoon. On site restaurant but didn’t try. Only downside is rooster in the morning crowing.

The property is nice but the customer service was very poor. I asked for a late checkout - 1 hour initially and told me any extra time would be appreciated , because I had an allergic reaction in my arms and needed more time to peralte but is head they came to kick me out of the room 15 minutes prior to the checkout time . I’ve been to Bali many times and it’s the only place where I found such poor customer service and zero empathizing or accommodating.

We are sorry our hotel did not live up to your expectations, we always take feedback seriously and it is our priority to offer the best service for each guest.This time we could not offer late check out since we are very booked and need the time for preparing the room for the next guest. This is why we offered our service in other ways and to hold your luggage until your had the medical attention you needed. We never kick anyone out early and it might have been you had the time wrong when we asked for a checkout some time after 12 and assisted with the luggage. Our apologies if something in our way to try to meet you in your situation was somehow unpleasant. It was certainly not our intention. Our best wishes for happy experiences the rest of your time in Bali.

You get what you pay for and The White Villa's didnt dissapoint. The 2 bedroom villa we stayed in was huge, immaculately clean, and had everything we needed. Beds and pillows were also comfortable, which is important. The grounds and pool were amazing, and so was the daily cooked to order breakfast. Staff were so friendly and always wanted to go out of their way to make sure you were comfortable and well looked after. As for the area, its set back about a 5 min walk from the main street with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants and is in a very safe location. Very easy and accessible walk. If I'm ever back in Ubud, I will definitely stay there again.

Definitely love to stay again! I stayed 4 nights at the suite room with Terrence, the room was timeless, cleaned and relaxing. The breakfast can either served to your room or their nice lounge area. They also have lunch/dinner menu at a limited time for room service, an infinity pool and free afternoon tea treats. The location is good, within 10 mins walk to the main shopping/restaurant places but no noises in the area at all. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The only con is probably it’s on the narrow alley that the cars are not easy to meet, but I was taking scooter most of time so no problem.

The villa is very conveniently located within walking distance from the main street. Clean, beautiful and cozy rooms, yummy breakfast. The staff there were friendly and helpful, and assisted us book all our tours around the area. Driver of the villa is also nice and patient. Overall, had a great stay there.

My wife and I spent 3 fantastic nights here in a private villa. We were served breakfast each morning on our balcony and all of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The pool is beautiful, and was always very quiet. Would definitely stay again!

This property looked just like in pictures and the staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend staying at this place. I never thought I’d say this about any place in Bali but the swimming pool water was too cold for me. My husband who is a Canadian didn’t have any problem with it though.

I stayed in one bedroom villa with my husband and my sister stayed in a suite with terrace for 5 nights. The villa was comfortable and spacious for 3 adults to hang out. The location is about 10 minutes walk from Ubud center, so it’s on more quieter road. The staff are nice and the breakfast was good. We had some mosquitoes inside our villa, which is very natural considering the environment. Ask the staff to spray and they take care of that. We had a really good stay here.

Splendid holiday
The villa was located slightly off the main Ubud market road but just about 5 to 7 mins walk. The villas were exceptionally planned and felt as if the entire setting was a part of a tropical resort retreat. The staff was amazing and so was the breakfast. We stayed for 3 nights at Ubud and had a great time visiting the Jataluwih rice terraces, Banyamala water falls, coffee tasting, wood work and silver making workshops, monkey forest and lots of shopping.... A great vacation.

Was overwhelmed looking at all the accommodation options in Ubud before finally choosing this one, and I’m so glad we did! We arranged an airport pickup with the hotel, we knew we wanted a smooth arrival after our long trip. Jerry was the best! It was a great intro to Bali and we got inside info on the surrounding area, what to see, and info about the hotel location etc. Breakfast on our terrace every morning was lovely, the food was super fresh and they accommodated vegans. The pool was great to cool off after a long day of exploring. A short walk to the main road, very walkable for us as we did not rent a scooter. The hotel organized a tour for us with their driver Jerry which was the highlight of our trip - swings, coffee tasting, rice terraces, temples, waterfalls etc. Water pressure and temperature was great in the bathrooms and they even provide a USB charging station by your bedside to charge up your electronics (in case you didn’t have a converter). Rooms were decorated very nicely and was very comfortable. Would totally recommend and would stay again!

The White Villas Ubud was a beautiful villa close to the centre of Ubud. A very quiet and peaceful villa, a great change from the hotels in Legain.

Absolutely amazing stay at the villas The pool and grounds made you feel like you were in a tropical paradise even though you are only about a five minute walk down the road into central Ubud. I was a little wary of coming back at night but it was no issue all we felt absolutely safe at all times. I would like to thank the manager,and all the staff and especially our driver Jerry for making our stay such a wonderful and memorable one, they are truely some of the nicest people I have ever met.

The Perfect Spot
My husband and I stayed at The White Villas for a few nights to round out our Bali trip. It was by far our favorite property we stayed at out of the three we booked. The property is even more gorgeous in person- it’s a lush, quiet, green oasis just steps from the center of town. The rooms are clean and well designed, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The service was the best we’d had in Bali- everyone went above and beyond. The daily complimentary breakfast was wonderful. As stated before, the property is very conveniently located, but is secluded enough to feel like a restful place. I would highly recommend booking at the White Villas and will definitely book with them again on my next Ubud trip.
