Private river access, at the gateway to the smokies in the heart of Townsend!

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this home! Everything was clean, it was well stocked and a great location. I do wish the creek was a little closer than it was, but only because our two youngest grands thought it was to far of a walk even though it wasn't bad. Thanks for making our annual trip a great one and we plan on staying there again."

"We booked this place at the last minute. We really loved that they had a pickleball court! The area was also very quiet, which we really enjoyed. However, we did see two large spiders in the room, and the bedding had a slightly musty smell, which was not very pleasant. Overall, though, we had a nice stay."

"This was a perfect location if you wanted to play tourist in eastern Tennessee. From Tuckaleechee Caverns, Cades Cove or even a drive to Gatlinburg this offered a great middle ground. Close to trails, this hosts had helpful maps to navigate the area. The best surprise was the sleep sound machine in the bedroom! The back porch while not fully secluded gave a great comfort to wind down using the swinging bench, and opportunity to know fellow neighbors if open to that sort of thing.Very wonderful hosts that communicated often and well.Would book the cabin again."

"This was a charming place to stay and it was right in the middle of Townsend, TN. My husband and I came to visit for a couples get-away and to run the Smokey Mountain Half Marathon put on by Vacation Races. Sandy, one of the owners, was very helpful and helped us get reimbursed for a night's stay when we were accidentally double charged from a previous reservation. She also gave us a little bit of the history of Townsend and I told her that I was fond of a TV series called Christy that was filmed in the early 1990s and she was able to direct us to where some of the movie set was filmed in the town of Townsend and that was fun to explore, even if some of the buildings are now on private land. It was great when Sandy told us the best places to eat nearby and it is so beautiful there. I was surprised to see fireflies at night as we spent a few minutes in the gazebo on the property - I had never seen fireflies before. This was really close to the Smokey Mountain National Park and we also enjoyed attending church in Marysville as well as biking Cade's Cove and hiking to Abram's Falls to name a few. Pigeon Forge was fun as well as the Skypark in Galinsburg. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was simple continental breakfast but the homemade muffins Sandy made were delicious."

"Loved staying at this cabin and we will definitely be back! It was so cute and had everything we needed. The washer and dryer was awesome. Our favorite part was the back porch it’s so gorgeous and looks out right over the river. We used the hot tub every night and it was hands down the cleanest and nicest hot tub we’ve had out of all the cabins we’ve stayed at before. Very peaceful and quiet area and close to everything in Townsend."
