"Our room was actually very nice, the pool very relaxing and food was very good. My issue was because I booked 2 separate reservations for 2 nights through Expedia (due to unforeseen circumstances), I was extremely inconvenienced. I called the front desk days ahead of time to make sure my 2 reservations were combined, I was assured it was. I asked the person upon check in for the first night if the 2 reservations were combined - no problem. Then on the second day, I had housekeeping pounding on my door to ask if I was checking out. Then my keys would not work after the first day. I had to go back to the front desk at midnight to check in again. Why was I assured this was all taken care of when it was not? The hotel was not busy. Very few guests in the lobby, restaurant and pool area. I will not be staying at a IGH hotel again, even though I am a member."

"Joanne and Mike's place is a beautiful place with high ceilings and beautiful molding. It's also very convenient to Stanford. We enjoyed the patios and gardens in a quiet neighborhood, and the pleasant weather. We also enjoyed the rosemary hedges. Such a nice aroma! The kitchen was fairly well equipped. I would have appreciated some containers for leftovers and a step stool for getting things off the higher shelves. The bathtub is a deep tub which we appreciated, but some might not like it as it's a little harder to get into. But they do have a handle that makes it easier to get into and I have a bad leg. Mike and Joanne are very responsive to any needs. We hope to return if we're in the area again."

"Wonderful hosts and a fabulous property! Main level with a primary bedroom plus en suite bathroom; upstairs with a great office area plus two bedrooms for the kiddos and a bathroom. Downstairs basement was perfect with a very large room, laundry, and another bathroom. Communication was fantastic. We have already booked a second stay at this location. :)We stayed for a month and we were provided a cleaner halfway through. Even the cleaner was very sweet and has been with the owners for many years.Lovely backyard space. Lots of green and very relaxing. One note for dog owners… We brought a portable folding long metal fence because the yard in the back connects directly to the driveway with no fence there. If you have a dog that wants to wander, just FYI it’s not fully fenced!Thank you again for the hospitality! Lovely property!!!"

"This is truly a great little guest house in the beautiful Los Altos Hills area. It's an easy commute to anywhere in the area you want to visit. The property is well setup for 2 people, comfortable bed, great bathroom and small kitchen area. The views from the outside porch are great. It's quite and very comfortable."
