"Starlight valley was even better then we could imagine. There is not words for its beauty. It was close to lots of great hiking and 20 min to hobbiton. The Host Rachel was the kindest most helpful person and was the savior of our trip after we had some car issues. She was a great example of the kind hearted Kiwi people. "Family from all over were meeting in Matamata for a BIG 60th celebration and 3 of our family booked into Tower Rd Motel. I was there first and found the check in process very easy. Our host was most informative and was able to direct us to our venue. She suggested we put the heat pump on as not a lot of sun had hit the room - we were most grateful when we arrived back after the party to have a nice toasty room to sleep in.
