"The host was very communicative, kind, and friendly. The house was spotless as well had many amenities on the property. I loved the property and the surrounding area. Would book again in the future :)"

"We stayed at this property for 4 nights and we unfortunately had some bad experiences, most of which were avoidable by the property managers - we had to deal with mice running around in the house, not cool, not hygienic and freaked everyone out- house was in beaten up shape with need for lots of updates - beds were saggy, couches were old, dinning table seats had no cushions and hurt our butts, drains were clogged- TVs are old and running on not so reliable platforms- Basketball hoops was broken and had open plastic edges that could hurt kids- Pots and Pans were all dirty and dinged up, non-stick coating was off and pans were unusable, cutting board had mould and cracks all over, knives were blunt- garage door was damaged (apparently by a bear)- hot water took for every to show upFirstly, when you are paying close to 800/night, you expect these things to be in order and sorted out for you. The management once contacted sent someone out who layed down mice traps and brought us new pots and cutting board, cleared 1 drain, etc. but it was too late, they should have accounted for these checks prior to us checking in. Chipped Non-stick pans are health hazzard and Mice running around is just Gross.Despite these inconveniences they did not offer any reasonable refund (offered 50/night refund) which is greedy and stupid in our minds. We feel the best thing to do is to IGNORE this property and let them learn a lesson on how to be more professional and organized "

"We had a lovely stay on a chill June weekend at the Cabin - the hot tub was much appreciated! All checkin details were provided ahead of time and Jeannine followed up to make sure we were settled in. As others have mentioned the space is even larger than pictured - with two living areas upstairs. The garage can fit two small to midsize cars and easily another two in the driveway. Note that the second full bathroom is full the master suite - if that is a consideration when choosing rooms. Easily accessible to Safeway, Palisades, Donner Lake, and the drive to Lake Tahoe was shorter than expected. The kitchen had everything we needed and look forward to a return trip!"

"We enjoyed our stay. Spacious lot in a quiet neighborhood. House clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Garage for car a plus! Deck with table and chairs was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon drinks, while surrounded by pine trees. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed for meal prep. Close location to excellent hiking, Old Town Truckee, Lake Tahoe area. We definitely plan to be back!"

"My teenage daughter and I stayed in this house for a long weekend to go skiing at Sugarbowl. The house is really big and well equipped, with a lot of space for everybody. It was very clean and check in was the easiest I have ever experienced with a rental. We had some issues with the heating but the hosts were communicative and helpful. The price was amazing for this kind of house. We loved our stay and would return again anytime."
