This Motel is out of the ordinary, lovely Manager very obliging & friendly. There have been recent refits, well done & comfortable, I love the handsets enclosed in plastic, no more filthy hand controls as we have all experienced over the years at other venues. Maryborough should take pride here & the price is good value, I can honestly recommend a stay here. I'll be back! Annie O'Brien

great atmosphere, surroundings, no road noise really noticeable at all, nice rec room with table tennis, breakfast good, and so nice to just walk out and straight on the main street to walk up and down, go in shops etc.

Easy access, parking space with trailer, clean comfortable. Plates bowls cutlery tea coffee etc, microwave toaster jug. Handy spot not fare from shops. Code door entry makers for easy check in. Room a little cozy but fine for short stay.

I travel a great deal for work, so stay regularly at Hotels. The Novotel Forest Resort was one of the best I have been too! Booked at the last minute (day before stay) and with a special request for ground floor as my child was in a wheel chair, we arrived to the most spacious room with disability railing and shower chair in the bathroom alongside a two person spa. Room was very comfortable. We really appreciated the staff allowing us to check in late and leaving the lights & heating on for our arrival. Would stay at the motel again.

Hotel staff very helpful with our late check in. Put on air-conditioner and left outside light on for us which was very appreciated. Room clean and spacey. Bed comfy. Quite and peaceful area.

A lovely country hotel. Very clean and tidy. The staff were super friendly and very nice meals in the bistro.

This property was central, quiet, clean, tidy and beautifully presented. They had the fire on when we arrived to make us feel welcome and warm. The villa had everything we needed. The local town Creswick had an IGA and bottle shop with other small shops which was very helpful. Ballarat is a short drive away with everything needed with lots of local areas to explore. The Sebel is such a great comfortable resort that has everything you need. We will definitely be back to stay. My children said...

Perfect stay

An excellent break from the hustle and bustle of life in the city. Surrounded by Australian Native Plants, rolling farm lands and vineyards. Waking each morning to the chorus of native birds, magpies, cockatoos, willy wagtails, finches, lowries and plenty of others. One of the most comfortable king size beds ever slept in.
