"The toilet was leaking and there was water everywhere in the bathroom. All the taps dripped constantly. The air out of the air conditioner smelt like mold. "

"Stayed here a few times over the years for business and in the past i've always been provided a free upgrade to ocean-view, which wasn't the case this time, but did have a nice view of the mountains. The 12th floor lobby hadn't been vacuumed all week + my toilet seat in room1201 was falling off. The bar ( and Gus's memory for drinks over the week was amazing) & restaurant are very nice."

"The staff was great, but the location is even better. If you’re looking to do a snorkeling tour it’s a simple walk to the harbor. Also, because there are no great beaches nearby. The lagoon right nearby is perfect for swimming and the water temperature was wonderful. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Cairns"

"There was a strong mildew odour coming from the air conditioner. We had to open the door to breathe fresh air. The air conditioner needs cleaning and is a health hazard. Otherwise very happy with this place."
