The en-suite was tiny. A larger person would struggle to get past the basin to the Toilet. The wifi didn't work and every time a plane took off the TV went off - annoying when it is every 90 seconds or so. But the bed was made each day and it felt clean.

A great lodging
The room was comfortable and clean. The reason I give four stars is the noise I experienced from the pub downstairs . I could not see where to regulate the heating too. Overall a good place and will be booking regularly.

Exactly what was needed for a whistle stop between two long days of driving. Can't thank the staff enough for helping to accommodate my late arrival (a phone call from myself the morning of arrival was followed by an evening one by the hotel to make sure the situation was still the same) after check-out time had finished. The room (a single) was small but had toilet and shower facilities, the bed itself, sink and washing facilities, a kettle with tea and coffee and a medium-sized fridge! Location is ideal for Heathrow too and the hotel is adjoined by an Italian restaurant

The property was very clean. But there was poor/no wifi connection and the receptionist on duty was asking why i couldn’t wait to complain, considering that she was busy serving the guests eating in the cafe. Also, check in was scheduled for 3pm but the staff were actually on break at that time.

Lodge is an old place that offers inexpensive rooms, a rarity in today’s world. Staff is friendly, helpful and eager to please. Good food in the restaurant!

Bathroom were shared and no toilet papers in the bathroom and no TV service no remote for tv and air pollution because of the terminal 4 early morning you can breath jet fuel in your lungs and get sick

One of the worst hotels we've stayed in with no-one onsite to conplain to! There was no one to let us in on arrival. (A snall notice in door to phone mobile number!) Ripped wallpaper and general bad decoration. Curtains did not pull and meet in the middle. Extremely low bed. Small shower cubicle with manual mixer, head that would not stay in place and it had plasterboard patched ceiling. No bedside tables. TV had no signal. Only positive was clean bedding and towels. If it wasnt for the fact that we had travelled for over 5 hours, it being late and that we'd already paid, we would have walked!

The staff here was super nice and helpful, with a great Italian restaurant on site. The location was excellent, a very short way to terminal 5. There was a small plumbing issue, not too serious. I always appreciate the tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and the hairdryer. A good stay.

I really like this guest house. It is not the most up to date and one cannot deny the aircraft noise which could be a real issue if you are not used to it. For me, as a solo female traveller I have felt really comfortable in a place where the staff are so helpful and delightful, and, indeed this has prompted me to book to prolong my stay. Also, being able to park my car is a huge benefit. I will always be recommending that people give this place a try......but don't expect luxury, air conditioning or any miracle cure for aircraft noise.

I had such a great stay. I was worried about the loud airplanes, but the property has great soundproofing. I was surprised to find a toilet and shower in my room as well. The room that I stayed in had fairly new flooring and paint. Bonus points for the restaurant attached. Believe it or not, there was no drifting of the restaurant smell in my room either. However, my TV was very small and didn't work very well. It glitched out quite a bit. Also, there was a trash bag on the overhead light. I found that to be a little odd but didn't see a reason for concern. My room was unbelievably clean!!
