Excellence Punta Cana - Adults Only All Inclusive

"We spent our honeymoon here and were very happy with the experience. The staff were all very friendly and happy to help. Drinks were tasty and strong, and they also gave us complimentary liquor in the room. When they learned it was our honeymoon they added a complimentary breakfast in bed and romantic dinner experience. The pool was beautiful with a swim up bar. Food ranges from good to excellent depending on the restaurant and dish. I especially liked the Porterhouse steak at the Grill. We also took a day excursion to Saona Island and the natural swimming pool which were beautiful to experience in person. My only criticisms with the experience: - dinner service could be slow at some popular restaurants. Over an hour between ordering and receiving our entrees. We were not in a rush so it was not the end of the world, but definitely saw some people getting up and leaving when they couldn’t stand to wait during to hunger. - the beach had rough waves and a lot of sargassum. So we spent our time poolside rather than on the beach. The excursion to Saona Island was enough to satisfy our beach experience though - calm, beautiful blue waters and white sand just like the pictures."

"Overall great stay! Me and my boyfriend stayed for a week and had the best time! Property was very clean and gorgeous. Our concierge was super helpful 24/7 and made sure he tried his best to get us what reservations we wanted as well as kept us updated on activities throughout our stay. The pool was very clean and bartenders were very friendly. By the end of the week we felt like family with some of the staff. The only thing we were unprepared with was dress code for some of the restaurants. It wasn’t anything too crazy, we just ended up repeating outfits throughout our stay. They also do provide body wash, but not bar soap which we personally didn’t like but that is also a preference thing. They cleaned our room everyday and restocked our fridge with new waters, sodas, and beers. We also felt very comfortable and safe leaving some belongings out. During our stay we did the Sacred River excursion and it was a blast! Definitely something you won’t regret. We did so many activities in just a few hours! Overall we were super happy with our stay and we definitely recommend Ocean El Faro for your next trip!"
