I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel NIWA. As a solo traveller, this is a lovely, safe area. Although I felt safe overall in all locations. After much research I chose Hotel NIWA as I love the serenity here. It’s so peaceful, away from the busyness & the crowds, however a great location, close to all with such great transportation & so many fabulous dining options close by. The food is fabulous here. We stayed for over a week here. It was clean, quiet, easily accessible via public transport and walking. The beds have blinds to give you privacy when you are sleeping. You do need to get up one or two flights of stairs depending on if you are in the female only or mixed dorms so be prepared for that.
