Bathroom and shower superb but we were bit surprised there was no shower gel - there were small bottles of shampoo etc and bar of soap but no gel. Lovely breakfast with exemplary service and the bar was a pleasant place to relax at the end of the day. All of the staff with whom we came into contact gave first class service and did everything they could to make our stay memorable."

"Called in advance to request a lower floor; and the receptionist, Annabelle was wonderful: making sure that we got a lower floor room, and just being very welcome. Hotel itself is a little dated decor wise, but is clean. Was very excited to find out the room had a little fridge in it. Perfect for a wee bottle of milk for my tea, and our water bottles. Room was very warm so we slept with a window open: word of warning: it’s very loud well into the early hours: and we were staying on weeknights. I can sleep through anything so was fine: but if you’re a light sleeper: it’s not for you. Perfect location: can access from the railway station. Just along the road from the Life Museum. Short journey to metro centre. And a walk to all main attractions (including the football stadium if you like that sort of thing) There was a room service menu: we didn’t get anything from it: but prices were reasonable. All in all, a good stay, and would stay again"
