"Great breakfast and swimming pool."

"What a find. I will be back. I loved this pub and rooms. Beautifully presented and decorated. Food for dinner and breakfast was great. I loved all the candles and furnishings and the fire lit on a slightly chilly morning at breakfast was lovely. I’d definitely recommend the bell inn. Parking is on the streets near by so as long as mindful of residents it really isn’t an issue. It a very quiet village "

"If you want delicious food in the evening and a bed for the night in a pretty village, then you won’t be disappointed. Staff were friendly too. However the room was tiny and very dated and the en suite was not much more than a cupboard, soundproofing is very poor. Breakfast was a little bit Fawlty Towers, I was told a flat white wasn’t a problem but was given a cup of black coffee,Asking for hot milk seemed to be disconcerting. Toast was forgotten, there was no salt, pepper or jams and...

"We stayed for 2nights, I originally booked a cozy room but was upgraded on arrival, the room was beautiful, fresh cookies everyday , tea coffee replenished, the bed so comfortable, the location was perfect for getting around the Cotswolds and at night the hotel looked was stunning loved the water wheel , we ate at the restaurant one night and the food was delicious I can’t fault the hotel at all "

"We were upgraded to an open-plan room which was very odd in design. It felt like the walls of the bathroom had not been built. The room was jaded but adequate for a night’s stay. The shower (in the room) was awful and kept cutting out. It ran out of hot water. The staff were very friendly and the public seating / bar areas looked good but we didn’t use them. Overall, perfectly adequate for a night’s stay and very central. A little underwhelming."
