But, the employees at the desk asked me to pay ONCE AGAIN, telling me that the fee paid over Hotels.com would be refunded. That didn’t happen. Eventually I paid TWICE. And the hotel refused to refund. So, I was double-charged. I think this is a classic way to lure foreigners to pay more. The hotel even doesn’t answer the phone.
