"Ana and Antonio were incredibly helpful with setting up dinner, recommending things to do, and solving any issues we faced. The property itself was great for our group of 18, plenty of space and a cool fruit tree that you can eat! Will definitely be staying here again if I find myself in the Lisbon Area (40 min drive)."

"Lovely grounds. Main building lovely, the outside rooms are tired. The pool is lovely but a number of things in the garden are not in good condition. Overall lovely, but for the price, I had hoped for a slightly better maintained property Definitely more than two steps to the beach. 20 min walk to the beach down a fast steep road."

"We loved our stay here! It was perfect for a large family group as we all had our own space but also room to come together outdoors or in one of the lounge or dining areas. And having a games room was fun! Very clean and comfortable and well furnished. Only a 30-40 minute drive into Lisbon but also within half an hour of Sesimbra, TimeOut Market etc."

"Very nice property if a little dated, limited air conditioning & showers over baths. Plenty of space, bedrooms were good size & layout was excellent. Pool & bbq areas are very good ‘ garden is nice. You need a car for the area … groceries a mile away, small local coffee shops in walking distance. Beach 2+ miles … is a real find, has plenty of character & is beautiful especially in evening time, has some decent shack like restaurants with lots of character, it’s a working beach where fishermen...

"Vasco is a great host and his home is confortable for 8 people. Someome came to clean the pool and another person was here to change the bed sheets. Beautiful and safe area, close to Lisbon and magnificent beaches. Would go back with no hesitation."

"We had a wonderful stay in Father’s House Beach House. The house was very clean and modern with a lovely pool & garden. It was the perfect place to relax. We walked through the forest to the beach every day. Steep climb but worth it. Huge, mainly deserted beach which was really picturesque with amazing sunsets. It’s also possible to walk to the village where there are some nice cafes and restaurants. Contact with the host was really good. He sent lots of info prior to check-in & checked on us...

"Very accessible, great house exactly what was in the pictures. Able to speak English, Spanish, or Portuguese and was very friendly and respectful. House rules are very understandable and location is very close to beach. Will come back again"

"Im Großen und Ganzen sehr schöne 2 Wochen. Wir hatten die Hoffnung, dass man die knapp 2km auch mal zu Fuß an den Strand laufen kann. Allerdings schaffen das nur Hartgesottene, da es keinen Gehweg gibt. Mit Kindern oder Surfboard leider nicht möglich. Wenn man genauer hinschaut, merkt man, dass das Haus schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Grundsätzlich ist es aber sehr gut ausgestattet und der kleine Pool macht v.a. den Kids viel Spaß, gerade bei 30 Grad+"

"Very well equipped. We were particularly impressed with the amount of toys and stuff to entertain the children. Unfortunately the restaurants and bars were too far out to walk to with the children. We made the most of the outside kitchen and had a lovely relaxing stay!"

"Stayed at this property while in town for a work conference. The Congress Center is a close walk, which was perfect for us. You will need Uber, bus or trolley to get into Lisbon for a lot of sight seeing. The flat is laid out in genuine Portuguese style as our hosts explained. There was a lot of space. The garden is lovely. The hosts are delightful and full of great recommendations."

"Superbe maison. Très spacieuse avec ses 9 chambres. Nous étions 14 adultes et nous avions amplement d’espace pour tous et chacun. Nous avons profité des talents culinaires de Maria Helena et de Ana à 5 reprises pour notre plus grand bonheur. Elles sont super gentilles. Nous les avons adorées. Notre hôtesse Ana est également très gentille et toujours prête à répondre à nos différents besoins ou demandes. Merci de tout coeur pour cette grande disponibilité!"

"I booked the property for 19 persons as a celebration for a friend. Paulo was always communicating with us for the months in the build up to the stay. The chef Jose was very friendly and cooked a great breakfast as well as a dinner for our final night. It is around 45 minutes from Lisbon but Paulo helped us organise taxis for a visit into the city on one of our days. There is also a supermarket around 5 minutes drive. Having the football pitch was also a great plus :) if you stick to the house...

"The villa was located in an upscale neighborhood close to several restaurants and stores. The only disappointing aspect was that only two of the five bedrooms had air conditioners and it was very warm during our July stay—room fans would have been helpful. The host Alice was nice and friendly. We were a group of 11 and the pool and ping pong table was enjoyable for the children."

"De woning op zich was prima, ruim genoeg en schoon. Ik vind de prijs kwaliteit verhouding te groot, zo is er geen tuin bij de woning. Wel een klein terras met weinig privacy, het mooie uitzicht wordt compleet tenietgedaan door een dorre heg.Verder waren er 2 kleine theedoeken(?) dat is echt te weinig voor 2 weken verblijf..ook geen vuilniszakken op voorraad,geen vaatwastabletten extra. Dat zijn toch de extra dingen die je mag verwachten voor de prijs die gevraagd wordt voor deze woning.Het...

"Very nice and spacious rooms. Ours had a mini kitchenette. Great quality bedding. Rooms have a heat pump! Yay AC! Breakfast was included and was excellent 7-11am each day. Pool area was very nice, we didn’t used it but did sit out. Water is not heated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location - walkable to lots of things. "
