"Everything was excellent in so many ways, but I did not get good sleep any of our three nights because of the very hard pillows that felt like concrete by morning. Many other hotels give you a choice of two pillows - one harder and one softer. Other than that, I would say perfect location near all the attractions, shops, grocery market, adorable Venetian-style room, absolutely wonderful breakfast buffet and top notch service from the front desk, to food service staff, to bellman...all so warm and gracious. Highly recommend."

"Lovely spot at a great price. Bella in the morning might wake some but minimal noise otherwise despite being central. Room was quite hot and AC didn’t work well or wasn’t turned on yet (March) but opening the window made it manageable. Breakfast isn’t worth the cost but is fine. Excellent staff and 24/7 front desk, which was amazing and rare in Italy. "

"Internet was ok. Check in says 2PM but we weren’t able to check in until after 4PM and they site luggage service online but that includes leaving your luggage in the hallway open to everyone walking by. Staff did not greet us until we spoke to them."

Offering help with destinations, places to eat, directions My daughter was really ill with a heavy cold one night so I asked for specific room service and they were brilliant. Hotel is in perfect position Super quiet and central to everything"

"The location is amazing - less than 3 minutes from St. Marks Square. The hotel overlooks the canal and is surrounded by restaurants and cafes. My room size was fine and it felt quaint and Venetian. It had very amenity I needed. The breakfast was excellent and all staff very friendly. I appreciated being given a cappuccino when I was working in the lobby / bar area one morning. There are also some areas on each floor to utilise if needed. I travel to Venice regularly so do hope to stay here again. "

"The Splendid Venice was in a perfect location to sightsee, so near Rialto and San Marco. The staff were very friendly and overall the hotel was warm and inviting, with lovely seating areas and a bar to relax in after a tiring day viewing the attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "
