"Very clean and comfortable room. Many restaurants in the area. Be aware that hotel is very large, with most rooms far from elevators."

"The room was clean and had plenty of room for a king room. The bed was super comfortable and the water pressure was great .. we asked for extra towels and they brought them right up. The staff was super pleasant and the whole atmosphere was wonderful. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!"

"Great location in the middle of shopping and restaurants. Lots of closed stores though in the Union Square area. The hotel is older but the staff are great with clean rooms. Everything worked well and we enjoyed our stay there as usual. We’ve traveled to San Francisco for years but more regularly now that we’ve retired and we usually stay at the Chancellor Hotel. We love the small, family run atmosphere. The cute bar in the lobby is perfect with popcorn and cookies. We don’t drive here so not sure about parking. We like jumping on the cable cars right outside. Walgreens is right up the street for convenience. "

"Okay it’s was just fine for the price"

"Parking across the street was the highlight. The room super small, which is no bi mg deal, but had a musty smell se kept the window open all night which was very noisy. The elevator was broken and the narrow spiral staircase was no fun carrying stuff up or down. Mildew painted over in the bathroom windowsill and frame."
