"Attentive and friendly staff, delicious breakfast, good location able to walk to historic part of town. Parking first come first serve; we were lucky to get a spot. The room had a comfortable king bed and very uncomfortable sofa pullout. We had sent a message twice to ask for two beds and explained that we were not a couple, but friends traveling to celebrate a birthday. We did not know the bed arrangement until we arrived. It was expensive and I wish that someone had recommended that we stay somewhere else. The property or Vacation Newport should have responded to my messages. So we were disappointed."

"My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights. Very nice location. Very easy to get into downtown area..just get in car, make a right turn at stopsign and drive straight! Our stay was very nice! Staff was excellent and friendly. Breakfast food was very good for continental breakfast. Room was clean and beds were very comfy. Only criticism which isnt really a criticism because I knew thst I was staying in a very old hotel, but the room was on the smallish size compared to what you might be used to. Didnt matter to us..we LOVED our VIEW! Looks out at beach. Very nice. Right down the street from Cliff Walk so if you like to walk..you’ll love the proximity! So easy to get around from this location. I recommend it!"
