"Quiet neighborhood of single-family homes nearby. Somewhat noisy a/c greeted us on a warm, pleasant mid-afternoon. Fortunately night was cool (mid-November) so we could turn off the a/c and open the lanai door and main room little window for peaceful, cool Hawaiian air once the sun went down. Never needed that a/c again, stayed cool enough til check-out time. The lack of a kitchen sink of ANY size was a real inconvenience, as we brought our food with us.
