"Due to unexpected flight delay I wasn’t able to reach the hotel at the time I expected to. I was expected to arrive at 3am so decided that I could crash at friends place instead of hotel. I contacted the hotel however they made no exceptions or waivers and I was charged for the full night. I’ve had two past expériences where myself or my friend had to request cancellation on exception basis and those 3 star hotels have been very helpful and understanding. Wasn’t expecting this from Fairmont."
