"I had a room on the first floor from which there was a great view over the river and sea. Room itself needed some maintenance on doors sticking, fluoro light in kitchen not working, water drips from air conditioning unit overnight onto bench underneath. Otherwise the room was clean and amenities good. Staff were considerate, and rang me when I left some things behind. Overall a pleasant place to stay, and good value."

"The main attraction was the Mexican restaurant with bar attached (and happy hour, which never disappoints). While there wasn't actually a lot of Mexican food on the menu, what was there was very good. A couple of biscuits in the room with coffee would be good.
