Reception on arrival was very friendly and through-out our stay, room was well appointed and modern. Enjoyed a drink on the roof-top bar which was opened on our request, great views over the area and sea. It was just a beautiful hotel. Our only regret was that we booked dinner at the hotel and on a local recommendation, we cancelled and had dinner at a restaurant near the ferry. While the entrees were really enjoyable, both our main courses were disappointing, and not worth the cost. There is also a local Moroccan shop across from the hotel, which had some really nice products and worth a visit. Definitely would stay there again !!
Beautiful and historic building with lots of charm. Staff were super lovely, helpful and friendly. Our room was great other than the bathroom door that wouldn't fully close. The room size was perfect for two people. The bed and the sheets were soooooo comfortable, didn't want to get out of bed! Great sized bathtub and lovely toiletries provided. Would stay again for sure! Thank you for a wonderful 3 night stay!
Central location, everything in Queenscliffe is a short walk away. Heritage building centrally located and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Kate is a delight and so focused on ensuring we had a good stay. after a tough 2 years of Covid, her commitment to the hotel and to guests is outstanding.

Bed was not comfortable. Bathroom needs to be modernised. Was clean which was good. The lady at reception was good and provided good service.

Lovely old-world hotel that offers all the features we expect nowadays.
Helpful and friendly staff.
It was a shame that the bar and dining room were not operating as expected (yet another impact of Covid).
Very central to all that Queenscliff has to offer.

Location, views are excellent. Dining limited amid Covid but hen “normality” resumes, a more extensive menu would be welcome.
Absolutely love this Grand hotel. A magnificent building, perfectly located in the centre of Queenscliff. Big thank you to Kate for being so welcoming.
What a beautiful old building, our room was at the top, ( Turret room ) & had amazing views of the ocean from 3 sides. Beautiful big spa bath, & a heated floor.
Staff were very friendly & helpful.
Only problem would be if you were not able to climb the stairs. Which we were happy to do.
I loved staying in this grand old hotel. It was very quiet and at times we felt as though we were the only guests. There is a generally slightly down-at-heel quality - the fancy suites upstairs on the third level and the tower have been redone and look very glamorous while the traditional rooms are comfortable but a little run down. This didn't bother us as the atmosphere and charm of the place won us over.
