Camping Village Torre Pendente
1.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (520)
"10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle, toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...

"Hótelið er nýtt og öll þjónusta til fyrirmyndar. Eigendurnir aðstoða gjarnan við allt sem þarf. Fjölskylduíbúðirnar eru mjög rúmgóðar með tveim svölum. Sundlaugasvæðið er frábært, hreint og huggulegt. Veitingastaðurinn á hótelinu var einn sá besti sem við borðuðum á:)"

"Planned this trip with my two siblings and my sister in law and we are so happy we chose Massimo’s Villa! Massimo is a wonderful host and went above and beyond to accommodate us on a very late arrival time due to some airline delays. We should have arrived at 3pm but due to delays and being rerouted through Rome we did not arrive until 1am. Massimo’s suggestions for restaurants and winery visits were on point and setting us up with a Chef to cook dinner for us at the Villa made for a very...

Villa Buonamici, a Luxury Villa with Pool in a walking distance from Lucca
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

Toscana Holiday Village
3.0 star property
7.0 out of 10, Good, (34)
"The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back."

Greenchalets Toskana Viareggio - Campsite
7.6 out of 10, Good, (41)
"We enjoyed our stay. The camp site is good for families and the staff were friendly. The restaurant and bar were very good and good value for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The entertainment/evening show is only aimed at children and is mainly in Italienne, it was learning songs and dance moves to the songs, which our 6 year old granddaughter was able to follow. We found the continuous loud music at the pool not very conducive for relaxing. They could have at least an hour a day without music for...

"This space was authentically rustic and very livable. Modern kitchen conveniences, comfortable beds, plenty immediate hot water & pressure. Large outdoor space was equipped for relaxed viewing the expanse of Viareggio/Ligurian Sea in day & a plethora of twinkling nighttime lights. The host and hostess were attentive and available providing ready assistance. The yummy pound cake and fresh fruit: a special touch.. We enjoyed evenings by fireside and ample wood was supplied. For us, 3 women, more...

Typical Tuscan Farmhouse, Superb View on Lucca, private garden/parking.WIFI.
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (198)
"This little farmhouse is 100 years old and still had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds, nice showers and plenty of hot water. It gave us a taste of a life lived long ago. Views were beautiful and the town of Lucca was 20 minutes away by car. Shopping there is great. The farmhouse is remote, quiet, and in the middle of olive trees. Wi-Fi was good, and the parking was a nice amenity. Massimo provided us with a lot of local information which was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay."

PRIVATE AND SPECTACULAR VIEWS - VILLA GUINIGI - LUCCA
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (31)
"My 16-year-old daughter and I stayed in the Magnolia apartment, which was was clean, well-equipped, and well-suited to our needs. The patio looked towards the pool and out over the Tuscan hills — it was lovely to sit there in the morning or after a day of touring. The pool is delightful and the setting could not be more perfect. The property is about 15 minutes from Lucca and there is a little grocery store walking distance from the apartment. They make their own cured meats and have a good...

REFINED RUSTIC WITH A TASTE COUNTRY CHIC IMMERSED IN AN OASIS OF PEACE
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (30)
"We had a warm welcome from Donatella with an homemade cake as well as sparkling wine. All communications were great and we always had quick responses. In living in this house we discovered a part of World War II we were not familiar with, but my youngest son did not like the idea that families had been killed in the house and in surrounding houses and was slightly scared. This house enabled us to immerse ourselves in the Italian way of living. For North Americans, this house really took us out...

Charming Tuscan villa perfectly located 6km from Lucca and 18 from the beach A/C
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (52)
"We had a great week. The property is spacious and the garden extensive with olive trees and areas of shade for the heat of the day. We especially enjoyed the distant views from the terrace, swimming in the pool (larger than it looks) and playing table tennis. The house and kitchen is old-fashioned, but comfortable. Great location, close to glorious Lucca, and not much more than half-an-hour to the sea (We enjoyed Marina di Vecchiano) and interesting towns like Bagni di Lucca on the way to the...

Very private villa, pool, 12KM to Lucca, amazing views, electric car charging
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (36)
"A clean, comfortable villa with a fantastic view. Enzo, Host, was very helpful in getting our group settled. He even went way out of his way to pick up part of the party from the station in Pisa. We used the very functional kitchen, the beds were comfortable and enjoyed the quaintness of the Villa. Only challenge was the road up the mountain - took some careful getting used to!!"

"Overall, this was a comfy and convenient stay with lovely staff. The only complaint was that the bedroom decor was a little dated, the shower was very small and awkward, and the room was very warm without a proper window. The breakfast was average, but did the job. I have to say though, the staff really were very helpful and the hotel is conveniently located for both the airport and the town. "
