"We stayed here for 5 nights and had a great time at the resort and visiting the ski fields. The resort itself was in a great location with two restaurants and amenities like a heated indoor pool, sauna, archery and some walks. It was such a peaceful resort with lots of beautiful wildlife to spot. Thredbo was about 15 minute drive and Perisher accessible via the skitube 5 minutes away or driving about 45 minutes. Harro’s ski shop was also fantastic and I’d highly recommend hiring from here instead of Perisher. The staff at Harro’s were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The gear we hired was excellent and they explained everything we needed to know. Would highly recommend staying here!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort for our ski holiday. The location is excellent, only a short drive to the ski fields, making it very convenient for families. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The resort grounds are beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of activities for both adults and children. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and the facilities were well maintained. Overall, it was a great base for exploring the Snowy Mountains and enjoying the snow. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a ski trip."

"The hotel is an old one that needs some maintenance and updating. Rooms are small and as others have mentioned one can hear complete conversations of your neighbors. On the plus side, the staff were friendly, and helpful, the food was great and it is located within walking distance to the Summit and Main Range trek. It is the only hotel open in the summer season in Charlotte Pass. All in all I would stay again. "
