"The hostess was gracious, charming and accommodating. The supper and tour of the winery facilities were personable, enjoyable and welcoming. The breakfast included plenty of fresh foods, fruit and pastries.The pool was very clean. The view from the pool and the room was bucolic. The beaches nearby around Torre Salsa were the most spectacular ones we visited in all of Sicily. Highly recommended overall."

We particularly loved the two separate beach accesses—one private, adults-only area for quiet relaxation and another perfect for families with children. The on-site spa was also incredible, featuring a variety of experiential areas and a massage staff who were excellent at their craft. In short, the entire resort was a wonderful surprise. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can't wait to return."

"This is a beautiful oasis in the countryside, near Selinunte and beaches. It was such a great place to escape the heat, the stress of driving around Sicily using google maps, and traveling in general. Masseria del Carboj has modern amenities, nice aesthetics, a beautiful pool in the middle of vineyard, and feels like you're in Napa valley. The restaurant (Racina) at the hotel is absolutely amazing, like Michelin star level food, so definitely eat here when you stay. "

"We really like hotel - the area is beautiful. The products they offered were amazing. There were a few things I thought were not communicated well. One of the major roads to the property was closed which meant we were driving around in circles. An email warning would have been helpful. We informed Google maps but they should have done that. The other issue with the property is the food. We had the very high end dinner one night and then they advised we need to book lunch, we show up and it's the same menu as the night before. And no-one told us that there was a casual menu at the pool that we could have had. And that menu should have been offered in the restaurant. We found that to be a major negative. I wouldn't want the same food as the night before. "
