"Clean room, very quiet area although can be some foot traffic. No air conditioning and it was hot. We weren’t familiar with the area and were afraid to leave the window open since we arrived at night. The next morning you could see the area was fine and quiet all night, we just got hot. There is a fan in the room. The room is bare minimum for sleeping one night which was fine. I wouldn’t stay for multiple days. I would say it is expensive for a bare minimum room. No microwave or frig either. You are getting a clean bed and a bath and I think there was a tv. That’s it. Kids were playing in the pool having a good ole time when we left."

"My wife and I have stayed at this property several times and we've always been happy with the room. The room is very clean and comfortable. AC is extremely strong and powerful, which really helps bring down the humidity in the night. Shower gets hot quickly. Staff is very accessible and can be reached via text as well. Parking is in a covered garage (provided there is space). The oceanfront rooms have also been redone and there is no more floor-to-ceiling mirror, which is a huge improvement. The fridge also holds quite a bit of food/drinks. A couple of quirks that could boost the room even more positively - 1. Ice is only available on the first floor, so you will need to make your trip down the elevator to get to it (if you were on the third floor like me). It would be nice to have an ice machine on every floor. That said, the north side ice machine actually has a water dispenser, which is a nice perk of being on the north side. 2. Shower - would be nice to have a detachable wand attachment for more thorough cleaning while showering. 3. Additional bath towels on check in would be nice. You are given three large bath towels, but for my wife, she will often need an additional towel for her hair and so we often need to ask for additional towels on check in. Having 4-5 large bath towels would be good here. Overall though, really like the hotel and would stay here again."

"Overall this hotel is pretty great for the family. Stayed with our 3 kids, (3,9 and 10mths). They offered a lot of kid friendly engaging activities which our 9 yr old loved. They have a shallow end that’s 2 1/2 ft deep, perfect for our 3yr old to stay in the pool all day! The staff was really friendly and very helpful around the pool area. Front desk staff was kind, maybe a little short staffed but over all everyone was still as helpful as they could be. The room was a generous size and easily accommodated all of us. I wish I had a pack n play for the baby as it was a bit tough to allow her to move about. The floors of the room were not the cleanest. I did clean them myself to get most of the dirt up but that’s to be expected by the beach. We dined at Bianchi and the pizza was really good! We had a really great experience there. We also dined at Dockside which was ok, they brought the food for the kids on time but our our plates never came after over an hour of waiting, we ended up cancelling our order and picking up a pizza at Bianchis, which of course, was great again. The server was really great about everything and ended up taking care of our kids meals. Over all we would 100% come back and maybe pick a room more beach front this time! 💕"

"The staff were so welcoming and had great vibes and energy.Also, staff was super helpful and resourceful for San Diego activities. It was so close to the beach. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms as well. The common area and kitchen were great. Everyone staying there were so nice and made this experience very fun and unforgettable."

"Great location! Lots of good restaurants around. Quiet rooms and very clean. We got a full beach experience staying there. The only drawbacks were parking, but there isn't a lot of parking at PB anyway. The good thing is there's 3 properties to choose from to park. We naver had to park more than a block away for parking. The rooms came with a decent size fridge and two burner hot plate. But you need to bring your own cookware and kitchen ware. We had our windows open alot when it was cool. They allow pets. Decent internet and we were very comfortable. Good location for a beachside property and if you plan on spending lots of time at the beach and boardwalk."
